Sustainability-related disclosure for the sale of insurance investment products
We are currently not pursuing an independent sustainability strategy. When selecting insurance companies and insurance products, we only take into account the information provided by the insurers. The respective insurer provides information about the respective consideration of sustainability risks in investment decisions with its pre-contractual information.
Currently the technical regulatory standards of the European supervisory authorities and information from the insurance companies are still missing in order to be able to examine in detail what negative effects there are on sustainability factors and how these can be included in the consultation.
Due to the currently limited information from insurers, these aspects are currently not considered as standard during any consultation.
We are monitoring further developments and will develop our own sustainability strategy at a given time, in particular taking into account negative effects on sustainability factors when advising.
Our remuneration for brokering insurance does not vary depending on whether the recommended insurance investment product takes sustainability risks into account or not.
The remuneration of our employees or sub-brokers does not vary depending on whether the recommended insurance investment product takes sustainability risks into account or not.
When advising on insurance investment products, we include sustainability risks by using pre-contractual information from insurers. In the event of a possible dutiful assessment of a comparable or better return on the product that takes sustainability risks into account, we recommend this as a priority.
